Dear Diary: Jigglypuff Card

Today was pretty boring. I took a shower, helped my mom put the groceries away, and that's about it.

My mom was going to take my aunt to her Zumba class, but my aunt cancelled last minute because she had a pain in her back. Too bad.

My friend got her wisdom teeth pulled today, and I made her an e-card featuring Jigglypuff:
You know, because she'll probably swell up and look like that Pokemon. I thought it was appropriate to the occasion and cute. I posted it on her Facebook wall, so I hope she likes it :)

Dear Diary: New Shoes

Today was a very lazy Sunday. Very calm too, which was nice. We had Chinese food, then my mom and I went to some stores just to look around and pass time. I didn't plan on buying anything, but I came across these shoes and I had to get them:
My other pair of black flats I've had for YEARS and I wanted a new pair, but I couln't find a pair that was good quality and cute. These are the same brand as my old ones, and I've learned that they are comfortable and last a very long time. I also got them cheaper than I would have if I bought them at the mall.

We also went to Target, I love Target! I bought some Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstain in Bitten Berry and Wink of Pink, and an angled eyeliner brush from e.l.f. which I absolutely love.

I almost bought salt and vinegar chips, but I controlled myself. After all, I had cake yesterday.

I also bought Avril Lavigne's new album, but I accidentally got the one with extra features so I want to return it and get the regular one. I can watch the DVD extras on YouTube.

Dear Diary: Cake is Good

Today I woke up feeling unseasy from a dream I had. It's kind of a recurring dream where I meet this little girl, and then she turns out to be a ghost and she haunts me for a while so I can help her and her family realize she is a ghost. Then she disapears.

Anyways, aside from that weird dream today was a pretty calm day. I woke late as usual, and in the afternoon I made one of my favorite things: mug cake! Except I don't make it in a mug anymore, but in a bowl. It's so delicious and quick and easy! I hadn't had one in a really long time because I feel very guilty about eating something like that when I'm not working out. But it was good :)

My mom made homemade pizza for dinner, and it was delicious. I had been craving pizza for quite a while now, so that made me happy.

Dear Diary: Alone But Not Lonely

Today my mother went out of town to visit her mother. And by that I mean the sister city right next to the one we live in. My brother drove her halfway and my grandma picked her up from there. Then my brother went to hang out with his girlfriend, my dad was at work, and therefore I had the house to myself for most of the day.

I went to bed at about 2 Am, so I slept in until 11 AM. Then I sang a bit. Which by the way, singing and playing guitar are some my favorite activities to do when no one is around. It's so fun.

I had coffee for breakfast. This is an ugly habit I recently picked up: skipping breakfast. I need to quit doing that. Then I ate some fake-chicken salad for lunch, re-watched some episodes of The Big Bang Theory, and began organizing my file box. My big disappointment of the day was that my mini stapler broke :(

Then my mom came home and told us about her day. Funny stuff.

Today was good :)

Dear Diary: Router Crisis

This morning my dear mother accidentally disconnected the router while sweeping the floor. I reconnected everything, but there was no internet connection. I pressed the reset button, which usually fixes the problem, but I guess I held it for too long because it reset all the settings. But at least we had internet again. I spent a while setting up the secured network again, which I didn't know how but I found a handy tutorial. Crisis averted.

So today I learned how to set up the router without my brother's help. That's nice.

Last night I watched Easy A. I liked it for the most part, but I thought the ending was a bit cheesy. But I laughed a lot in some parts, especially the whole "Pocketful of Sunshine" scenes. I replayed that part like 5 times just because I found it so hilarious and like something most girls have done at least once in their lives, haha. Also, for some reason I can't handle Lisa Kudrow in other shows/movies besides Friends. I loved her in Friends, which is probably why everytime I see her in anything other than Friends all I can think of is Phoebe Buffay.

Dear Diary: Daily Blogging

I decided on a whim that I want to blog daily about whatever happened in my day. I haven't posted in a while, and so I thought this would be a good idea. My life is pretty uneventful, so I doubt this will be that hard :)

Today I woke up early, which I haven't done in a couple of weeks. I had to turn in some scholarship applications so I went to my school to drop them off, since today was the deadline. I do not know if it's because I haven't been out of my house in a couple of days, but it was hot out there. Like suffocatingly hot. And I don't have A/C in my car. I had to get a Slurpee because I was dying.

After I dropped the applications, I stopped at Wal-Mart. I was only going to see their spray paint colors and to buy some eyeglass cleaner, but I ended up coming out with some hair product and a file box along with folders. I have important documents scattered all over the place, and I decided I needed to organize them.

Then I got home, ate, and took a long nap. I'm sick, so all the heat really made me feel worse. I really hate being sick :( When I woke up, the weather outside was horrible, and there were some warnings of hail.

Now I'm about to watch "Easy A", and then I'll go to bed. And that's about it.

Today was a total fail.

Today was one of those days that make me think that I've done something very bad and karma is trying to whip my butt.

First, I was in a hurry this morning, so I forgot to put my glasses, wallet, and hairbrush in my school bag, so I was blind, money less, and my hair was a mess. I also forgot my eyeshadow primer, so my makeup was pretty much only eyeliner and mascara. And okay, this wasn't terrible and I got over it, but I just was expecting this to be it.

Then, I became brain dead or something because I honestly cannot explain my stupidity (I probably need to stop watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians"). So today the professor was going to explain an assignment, so I wanted to be there on time since all last week I was late. So I got walking to my class with plenty of time and decided to kill sometime going into the bathroom and fixing my hair. My class is at 8:30AM, and it was 8:09AM when I decided to head to the classroom. There were people there, and I could see the lecture slides up, so for some reason I didn't think more of it other than "OMG I'm late again!" and just walked in and took my seat. The professor gave me the assignment handout, and as soon as I sat down, the proffesor was like:"Alright, so this is it. Good luck with your assignment, don't forget to sign up for a meeting with me". I was very confused, and all I could think was that the assignment was pretty self explanatory and that he wasn't going to be going over it. So I just got up and signed up for a metting with the proffesor, and I left. It was 8:15AM. My class hadn't started yet. I walked in on the 7:30AM class.

So not only did I miss the assignment instructions, but I made a complete fool of myself and I'll forever be the dumb girl who walks in on the wrong class and leaves before her actual class starts. At least the assignment is the same, but I had to send the embarrassing e-mail to the professor asking if I should re-schedule my meeting because I "accidentally" signed up in the wrong class sheet. And when do you think I figured out the whole why-did-my-class-end-so-fast situation? About 4 hours later, while I was daydreaming in my Statistics class. Yes, it took me that long.

Does it stop there? No way! When I left my class before it started, I though: "Oh, I have a lot of time all of the sudden, why not study for my psychology quiz!". So I did. But guess what? I studied the wrong material. Are you kidding me, Ana. Really?... This resulted in a 70% on my quiz. Balls.

And I know all of this is not that bad and one day I'll look back on it and instead of cringing I'll laugh, so I probably should also point out a couple of good things that happened today:
1. I found out I got a 93 in my statistics exam :D
2. My brother's girlfriend's mom sent me a bag full of Mexican candy. I'm a sucker for candy, but Mexican candy is just like a million times better than American candy. The only downside to this is that just yesterday I decided to go on a "diet", and this kinda throws me off a little :D
