Dear Diary: Touch Typing

Today I woke up from a scary dream (not so much a nightmare, though) and when I saw my mom in the morning I told her about it. She didn't pay attention as usual, but this time I got upset. It just hurt my feelings that she usually doesn't give a fuck about what I say. And it's not as if I talk all the time, so much that I become annoying and people have to learn to tune me out. It's the total opposite, people sometimes have to beg me to talk.

Anyways, after I was done being butt hurt, I decided I wanted to learn how to touch type. I remember we covered that when I was in high school, but I didn't really learn. I found a free course online, so I'm using that. I already learned how to type with the first two rows, and I started on the third, but I'll continue on that tomorrow. And I probably should be using my new found skills to type this post, but it would probably take me a lot longer. And I'm tired.

I also decorated an eye shadow quad, and I wanted to paint my cell phone with nail polish, but it didn't work too well. Maybe I'll try spray paint.

Dear Diary: Siamese Popsicle

Today I ate a cherry ice cram bar, but there was some mistake because I got two in the same packet. They were joined by the stick, and one had a tiny popsicle stick. It was fun.

I finished watching "Bridesmaids", and I liked it. I think I expected it to be funnier, but it was good.

I found out my aunt got a new dog. That cow. Seriously, she treats animals as if they're disposable. Oh well...

Dear Diary: Movie Fail and Bored

Yet another lazy day. Today my mom was very tired from her Zumba class and slept all morning, then she went grocery shopping. While that happened, I began watching "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" online. When my mom got back, I helped her put all the groceries away, while she cooked.
I didn't finish watching the movie, I kinda lost interest. But I'll probably finish it tomorrow. It's a long movie too, about 2 1/2 hours, and I only got the the 1 hour mark.

I played some Restaurant City, then I laid in bed for a while. My brother's friend came over again. She didn't say hi to me, wtf?. I began watching "Bridesmaids", but I didn't finish it either because it was taking forever to load, probably because my brother and his friend were using up all the internet juice. So I'll probably finish watching that tomorrow. It looks pretty funny, and I've wanted to see it for a while now.

Today was a pretty boring day online. The kind that makes me wish I had something to do outside of my house. I'll get over it.

Dear Diary: Movie Day

Today I'm feeling better than yesterday, but not quite great yet. I had oatmeal for breakfast, which was super tasty.

I realize I have to eat constantly so I don't go hungry. Since I've been eating liquidy stuff, I can eat a whole bowl and feel full, but then an hour later I'm hungry again. So I'm not really eating at my normal "times" right now, just when I begin to feel hungry.

Today my brother's friend took him to the movies to see "Green Lantern", and then they came back home and played video games all afternoon. She even stayed for dinner. I'm too embarrassed to go out looking like I am, so I just stayed in my room.

I watched "An Education" earlier today, and I really liked the film. I definitely recommend it. Also, I re-watched "Ghost World". I love that movie, it's just amazing :D

I can open my mouth a little more, so I ate an ice cream bar. It was a mint ice cream bar covered in chocolate, and it was delicious. My favorite ice cream flavor is mint with chocolate chips, so this popsicle was heaven in my mouth. I think I'll eat another when I finish this post.

My lip hasn't peeled anymore, but I have a crack on the left corner of my mouth, and it hurts a bit.

Dear Diary: I'm Miserable

Today I pretty much layed in bed feeling miserable. I'm not in pain, but I'm very hungry and uncomfortable. I've been craving a Burger King veggie burger and fries for days. Oh man...

I took a shower, and that made me feel better, but not entirely. My mom made me carrot soup and some spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. It was so good! I ate it right up. It took me a while with the spaghetti because I can't chew, so I had to cup it up into tiny pieces, gather a small amount in the tip of my fork, place it in my mouth and swallow it whole. But at least I didn't feel so hungry afterwards.

Max is being very cute. He lays at the foot of my bed and just sleeps there, keeping me company. He's really not supposed to be in my room, so my mom keeps taking him away, but somehow he always comes back.

Today is my brother's birthday, he turned 22. That's kind of insane. My mom made him his favorite meal, and a cake, and a flan.

I realized we have some of those plastic ice packs, like the kind you put in your lunchbox, in the freezer, so I've been using those in my face.

Right now I'm eating some mango yogurt. It's good. Also, my lip started peeling. That hurt a little.

Dear Diary: Wisdom Teeth Check-Up

Today I had my dentist appointment. It was at 4, so in the mean time, my grandma, mom and I went to Home Depot to buy some stuff my grandma needed. We also went to Walmart.

We went back to my house and I started packing, because my dentist is in another city where my grandma lives. We ate at my house, and I got to clean the huge mess my mom made in the kitchen. When we were going out the door, I realized I forgot my money. Thank God I remembered. Wow, Ana.

We got to the dentist just in time, and they checked my teeth. Turns out I have a couple of cavities, damn. Then I had some X-rays taken, and then I waited for the oral surgeon to come in. She explained how the wisdom teeth surgery was going to be, and all the risks. The main one was that some nerves could be damaged because my wisdom teeth looked as if they were in the nerve canal (or something like that), but that maybe they were behind it, and that the x-ray was misleading. She recommended I do all four at once, and she said that she could do the surgery right then, but that she preferred for me to come back early tomorrow. And that's what I'll do.

We went to my grandma's house, where I haven't been in since December. I saw my cousin Sofia, who I absolutely love and I hadn't seen in like a year. She is so beautiful, she doesn't look like a little girl anymore. Which kinda sucks for me, because now that she is a beautiful teenager she'll probably think it's lame to hang out with her older cousin. But we had fun. We wanted to go get some snacks, but we decided to wait for my uncle (Sofia's dad). When he got to the house, he had come from work, and he said he was tired and he told me to take his car. I'm a little uneasy about using other people's cars, but then my mom and my uncle decided to come with, so I took the keys and enjoyed the ride. It was a nice car. They got some sort of nacho concoction, but I was craving a corn in a cup. It was yummy.

I also got to see my other cousin, Sofia's brother, who lives in my grandma's house. Sofia stayed for the night too, so we all watched some funny YouTube videos. We also went to the part for a little bit. We had fun.

Dear Diary: Grandma

Today my grandma came into town, and I didn't see her until late afternoon because my aunt dragged her to my cousins' soccer games. And they're pretty lousy players, so she just went for the LOLz and to get a heat stroke.

Today I felt very cold. I'm not sure why. The air conditioner was on, but it is on most of the time and I don't feel the need to wear socks and a long sleeve shirt, like today.

My aunt, grandma, and cousin came over in the afternoon to chit chat, then they asked my mom to show them some of her Zumba moves. All of a sudden everyone (but me and my grandma) was dancing and there was tacky music blasting all over the living room from my aunt's cell phone. Then they decided they all should go with my mom to her class tomorrow.

My little cousin had one of those Let's Go Fishin' games, but she kept cheating and I kept saying "Cheater, cheater, cheater", as many times as I could. I don't think my aunt liked that very much, but I believe that children need to learn to play fairly no matter what.

My mom made dough to make her famous and delicious sweet potato empanadas. They're the death of me, I could eat those all day. She'll probably make them tomorrow morning :)
