Dear Diary: I'm Miserable

Today I pretty much layed in bed feeling miserable. I'm not in pain, but I'm very hungry and uncomfortable. I've been craving a Burger King veggie burger and fries for days. Oh man...

I took a shower, and that made me feel better, but not entirely. My mom made me carrot soup and some spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. It was so good! I ate it right up. It took me a while with the spaghetti because I can't chew, so I had to cup it up into tiny pieces, gather a small amount in the tip of my fork, place it in my mouth and swallow it whole. But at least I didn't feel so hungry afterwards.

Max is being very cute. He lays at the foot of my bed and just sleeps there, keeping me company. He's really not supposed to be in my room, so my mom keeps taking him away, but somehow he always comes back.

Today is my brother's birthday, he turned 22. That's kind of insane. My mom made him his favorite meal, and a cake, and a flan.

I realized we have some of those plastic ice packs, like the kind you put in your lunchbox, in the freezer, so I've been using those in my face.

Right now I'm eating some mango yogurt. It's good. Also, my lip started peeling. That hurt a little.

Dear Diary: Wisdom Teeth Check-Up

Today I had my dentist appointment. It was at 4, so in the mean time, my grandma, mom and I went to Home Depot to buy some stuff my grandma needed. We also went to Walmart.

We went back to my house and I started packing, because my dentist is in another city where my grandma lives. We ate at my house, and I got to clean the huge mess my mom made in the kitchen. When we were going out the door, I realized I forgot my money. Thank God I remembered. Wow, Ana.

We got to the dentist just in time, and they checked my teeth. Turns out I have a couple of cavities, damn. Then I had some X-rays taken, and then I waited for the oral surgeon to come in. She explained how the wisdom teeth surgery was going to be, and all the risks. The main one was that some nerves could be damaged because my wisdom teeth looked as if they were in the nerve canal (or something like that), but that maybe they were behind it, and that the x-ray was misleading. She recommended I do all four at once, and she said that she could do the surgery right then, but that she preferred for me to come back early tomorrow. And that's what I'll do.

We went to my grandma's house, where I haven't been in since December. I saw my cousin Sofia, who I absolutely love and I hadn't seen in like a year. She is so beautiful, she doesn't look like a little girl anymore. Which kinda sucks for me, because now that she is a beautiful teenager she'll probably think it's lame to hang out with her older cousin. But we had fun. We wanted to go get some snacks, but we decided to wait for my uncle (Sofia's dad). When he got to the house, he had come from work, and he said he was tired and he told me to take his car. I'm a little uneasy about using other people's cars, but then my mom and my uncle decided to come with, so I took the keys and enjoyed the ride. It was a nice car. They got some sort of nacho concoction, but I was craving a corn in a cup. It was yummy.

I also got to see my other cousin, Sofia's brother, who lives in my grandma's house. Sofia stayed for the night too, so we all watched some funny YouTube videos. We also went to the part for a little bit. We had fun.

Dear Diary: Grandma

Today my grandma came into town, and I didn't see her until late afternoon because my aunt dragged her to my cousins' soccer games. And they're pretty lousy players, so she just went for the LOLz and to get a heat stroke.

Today I felt very cold. I'm not sure why. The air conditioner was on, but it is on most of the time and I don't feel the need to wear socks and a long sleeve shirt, like today.

My aunt, grandma, and cousin came over in the afternoon to chit chat, then they asked my mom to show them some of her Zumba moves. All of a sudden everyone (but me and my grandma) was dancing and there was tacky music blasting all over the living room from my aunt's cell phone. Then they decided they all should go with my mom to her class tomorrow.

My little cousin had one of those Let's Go Fishin' games, but she kept cheating and I kept saying "Cheater, cheater, cheater", as many times as I could. I don't think my aunt liked that very much, but I believe that children need to learn to play fairly no matter what.

My mom made dough to make her famous and delicious sweet potato empanadas. They're the death of me, I could eat those all day. She'll probably make them tomorrow morning :)

Dear Diary: The Joneses

I thought "The Joneses" was a really good movie. It started out okay, and then when you "find out", I thought it was going to become the cheesiest movie ever, but it didn't. I thouhght this movie portrayed some people I know, and it was interesting to see a fictional, yet not so much, side of how things work.

My mom finally set up her new bathroom curtain and it looks pretty good. I really didn't do much today, I didn't go anywhere. Pretty much I washed dishes while my parents went to the bank, and that was it.

Dear Diary: Pineapple

Last night I watched "Trust" and I thouhgh it was such a great movie. Definately creepy and something that a lot of people should watch.

Today I was being my typical annoying self and I made my mom sad, so I controlled myself. Later today my brother brought his girlfriend over, and my mom went to Target to buy some curtain loops for her new shower curtain. I stayed back and ate some pineapple that had been on the refrigerator for a while. It was pretty good.

I also ate some bread from yesterday. It was really delicious. I love sweet bread.

Right now I came across a movie called "The Joneses" with Demi Moore and David Duchovny and it looks like a good watch. I'll see if I like it.

Dear Diary: I'm Sad

This morning I was woken up by my brother tossing a bunch of balloons in my bed, followed by a dog jumping all over me trying to pop all of them.

Today I was feeling kind of down, I really don't know what was wrong with me. Maybe it's hormonal. I even shut my room's door. I rarely do that.

Yesterday my mom's friend called while she was not at home, and she talked to me for a while. It was kind of weird. And today while they were online chatting, she told my mom that I was a "nice and fun person to talk to". That doesn't sound like me :/ And that's exactly what I told my mom, and a lecture about how I don't have any self-esteem followed.

Then I had to drive my mom to Walgreens because she was meeting a lady who was going to give her something for my aunt. Since we we're already there, we decided to go into the drugstore. I looked at the make-up, but didn't like anything. I did pick up some dry shampoo, because the one I have has a very unpleasant smell. Then I bought us some candy. I tried the Milky Way Simply Caramel, it's so delicious. My mom got some Japanese peanuts and some dried mango with a sugary and spicy coating. Also, for some reason the cashier scanned a different bag of candy instead of the ones I was buying so it would come out cheaper. I don't know exactly why he did this, but somehow that unethical transaction cheered me up.

After that we went to a grocery store and we bought some sweet bread and I bought some apple cream that my grandma has and that I love.

Right now I'm going to watch a movie called "Trust". I stumbled upon it somehow, and it looks interesting. I'll see if I like it.

PS. I realized that Christians have issues against Pokemon so I deleted the Jigglypuff e-card from my friend's Facebook wall and posted a different one with a hamster with chubby cheeks instead.

Dear Diary: Spank Scare

This morning my mom and I called a bunch of dentists for information so we can decide where to get my wisdom teeth removed. My aunt's friend has a very good dentist, and I think I'm going to go with him. I really want to get this over with :(

Also, it turns out that my aunt had something kinda serious. My mom called her at noon to see how she was doing, and she was crying and saying that she could barely move because she was in a lot of pain. My mother then offered to take care of the kids while my uncle took my aunt to the doctor.
Then, I went to the grocery store to buy some stuff my mom needed for lunch, and I bought some Red Vines. I usually go for Twizzlers, but I got Red Vines this time because according to Sheldon Cooper, they're much better. And yes, they are pretty good.

We have a rocking chair in the living room, and my little cousin was rocking full speed and she hit the wall kind of hard, and she knows she's not supposed to do that. She stopped cold, and I jokingly said: "To the couch, time for a spanking!". Either I'm not very funny to children, she is very sensible, or she really get's spanked at her home but she kinda took it seriously and got very sad. I felt really bad, I was only kidding! :( I hugged her and told her that I was only kidding, and then my mom gave her a freeze pop. She was okay after that.

Later in the afternoon I watched the MTV Movie Awards online. I liked it it was funny. Robert Pattinson was too funny. I can't get over that.

PS. I ate another bowl cake. Bad Ana.
