Headphones FAIL
I bought these cute headphones from Ebay a couple of weeks ago, and I love them! I love how they look, the fact that they're very comfortable, and how they sound. Then today I remembered to leave feedback to the seller, so I did leave a very positive feedback. And 15 minutes after I did so, they broke. Like, literally broke, the plastic inside the white band snapped in two.
I wasn't necessarily angry, I found it rather comical. Kinda like when things break just when the warranty ends, haha.
So I e-mailed the seller and explained what happened, so she is sending me a new pair! Awesome :D I guess I'll have to keep using these in the mean time...

Max is a little sick.
Max hasn't been felling good the past few days, and he's kind of taken over my mom's watermelon kitchen rug.

Weird Fruit
So I went to a park near my school to try and film a video, but I ended up finding this amazing thing:
As I walked toward the tree, I though it was a tennis ball, which seemed random because there were no tennis courts near. When I got close enough, I kicked it around a bit, I didn't even want to touch it in fear of it being poisonous.
When I got home, I did a little research and found that it is a Osage-orange fruit :)

Happy Birthday to Me.
Today is my birthday! Yay!... I still feel the same way I did about birthdays than I did last year, so there's no point in rewriting (or copying and pasting) last year's post. Read it here---> ♥
Today was nice though. My parents made me homemade waffles for breakfast, with whipped cream, peaches, maple syrup, and strawberry marmalade. My aunt, uncle and cousins along with my grandma joined us. My grandma said she was going to make me a cake, but instead she made me my favorite lime pie! I love it! But surprisingly no one else is a huge fan, so I'll probably end up eating it all myself.
I told my mom I didn't want any presents, so the only present I got was a perfume my aunt got me. It's "With Love" by Hillary Duff, which came out a while ago. I'm not much of a perfume person, I don't have patience to smell a whole bunch of perfumes and then decide which one "suits me". But I liked this perfume very much, it's interesting. So I'll be wearing that a lot.
<>So I hope this year is a better one (not that last year wasn't, but I believe in improving) May it be filled with a lot of success, luck, happiness, and love. < /positive-thoughts >

Juggling
I just spent the past hour learning to juggle. I think I got the hang of it, and I was using limes!! It kind of reminded me of that episode of "King of Queens", when Doug is trained by Arthur to play ping-pong, but Arthur makes him use a wooden spoon because that way it would be easier once he played with a normal ping-pong paddle.
For some reason I think this logic also works in juggling :D I was going to use onions, but I kept dropping them and I didn't want to leave them bruised. The next best thing were the limes.
It's kind of addicting too, so I will continue to practice. I think hacky sacks would be just perfect! I just need two more.

Body Pillow
Today I went to Kohls because I had a $10 coupon and I wanted to find an outfit for an awards ceremony. I didn't find any clothes I liked, and to not waste the coupon (which expired on the 24th, which is tomorrow), I got a body pillow!:
My brother has one of these and it is so comfy, so I've been waiting one for a while. But the thought of paying $10 for something that will encourage my laziness just wasn't too appealing. And with the coupon, my pillow came out free! :D
Now I only need to buy some cute fabric at Hobby Lobby so my mom can make me a pillow case.

I wanted to try this site for the longest time, but I didn't have a webcam... until yesterday! I'm pretty much obsessed now, follow me!
Dreamy Monday: Sean Foreman
This is a little late because today I was surprisingly busy :D
This guy is from the band (is it a band, or a duo?, idk!) 3OH! 3. I've heard about them from a long time ago, but I never actually listened to any of their songs until I came across a duet with Katy Perry in the song "Starstrukk". I watched the video and I just fell for him. I particularly love his teeth and jaw (LOL, how weird am I?), I just find that very handsome :D

Dreamy Monday: Aaron Eckhart
This man is by far my biggest celebrity crush. I sometimes Google images of him, but I have to look away because he is just so... beautiful.
I fell in love with him after watching "Towelhead", a movie were he plays a Southern (accent and all! ♥) pedophile. All through the movie I kept thinking: "He is so handsome! Where have I seen him before?...". And it wasn't until the movie ended and I went to IMDB (because I'm that much of a nerd), that I found out that he was Two Faced in "The Dark Knight".
Why can't he ask me out?! ;-;

Mug Cake = Delicious Instant Gratification
On Tuesday I decided to look for a recipe for a mug cake. I found many videos on YouTube but they all contained the same recipe. I wanted to try it, but I was out of baking cocoa, and I just got some yesterday.
The mug cake came out good, but I think it needed more sweetness and chocolate-ness. I'm not sure how to fix that, I'm guessing more sugar and some chocolate chips. Other than that, it was pretty good for a cake which preparation and cooking time was less than 10 minutes.
I ate it right away with some whipped cream, but somehow I forgot to take a picture. But no worries! I'm sure I'll be making more of these and may even make a video! :D

Dreamy Monday: Emilio Butragueño
New weekly post! Dreamy Monday will depict a person who is charming, dreamy, and beautiful; at least according to me :D It will mostly be men, but I might feature a pretty lady every once in a while.
For the first Dreamy Monday ever, and in celebration of the World Cup, I chose a former soccer player from Spain.
From what I read, he was a big time player from Real Madrid, and he is now the General Director of the Escuela de Estudios Universitarios Real Madrid.
I first catched a glimpse of him while my TV was on a Mexican sports show called "Los Protagonistas" and I fell in love with his face and his accent :D

Happy Birthday FetusTard! ♥
Today is the day hundred of thousands of people have been waiting for: the birth of FetusTard!
I have been watching the SHAYTARDS vlogs on YouTube for maybe 4 months, and I've fell in love with that family. Sometimes I like them better than my own family... I kid, I kid ;] (No, but really). And all their viewers have been waiting for the day when MommyTard would pop.
I'm not a baby person at all (but I don't hate babies either). I mean, if I see a cute baby I'm like: "Aww cute baby! *squeal*", but then I'm like: "Okay, over it...", and I move on with my life. But I've been so excited about this baby, and I cannot wait for the baby vlogs.
My aunt, mom, grandma, and myself (although I haven't done much), have been planning a baby shower for my cousin's wife, who is also about to pop. And honestly, I am WAY, WAY more excited about FetusTard.
*squeal*, I'm so excited!! ^-^

How to Decorate Your Cell Phone ♥
If you've been reading my blog since the beginning, you'll know that I don't have a cell phone. Well, I didn't have one, but when I got my car my parents and I decided that it would be a good idea to get one just in case of an emergency. Me, being not much into cell phones, accepted an old one that was laying around the house. It's a Tracphone, which is the cheapest prepaid.
It was alright, until I decided to make it pretty. Above is the video with how I turned my lame cell phone into a super kawaii phone! Everyone who's seen it has loved it :]
PS. I glued the things directly onto the phone, but if you don't want to do that you can get a clear case and glue the thingies on to it ♥

Yet Again.
I decided to change my blog's name and URL yet another time. Third time's the charm!! LOL. Anyways, I'm out for summer vacations now so I'll hopefully be able to post more. This last semester was tough, but I think I did good :]
I'm also planning on making some videos, like short vlogs, etc. It will be fun!
So follow me because there's so much more to come!

♥Weekly Hearts♥
So this week was filled with nice hearts. Like these:
Braces off!
If you read my previous post, or if you read my braces blog, then you know that I got my braces off. I'm so exited! I love my new smile. I can eat without worrying that half my food will end up between my brackets. I can smile to the world!! I'm extremely happy, can you tell? :]
Cousin
My cousin (well, she's actually my aunt, but she's a year younger than me so we pretend we're cousins) came over to visit the family, shop, and attend my other cousin's wedding. She came over to my house on Friday as a surprise, along with my grandma and my other cousin Sofia. We then went to the mall, and went back home at like 9 PM (thy we're closing the stores!). We drove home with the music as high as it would go, singing from the top of our lungs. The best time I've had in so long :]
Candy
Chewy caramel and Starbursts are my new favorite. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some as soon as I got out of the ortho. It's so nice to be able to eat chewy candy again.
And I have a little heartache, it's not that bad, and I'm getting used to it, but it deserves this spot:
Retainer
I had basically 3 hours of teeth freedom before I got my retainer. Not enough!! And I can't close my mouth all the way, you can see where the plastic ends, and I can't say "s", sh", or "ch" sounding words. But I'm getting used to them and they'll keep my teeth straight, so hopefully they don't stay in this section for long.

People Who Steal: A Rant
Today I went to kickboxing, and I took my water bottle, bag, and sweatshirt. I left them on the bleachers, while the class was going on (it takes place in a gym, like a school gym). People usually go and seat in the bleachers and watch the class, and then leave.
At the end of the class, I went to the bleachers, and I couldn't see my stuff. As I walked closer I saw that my stuff had been kinda trampled on. My sweatshirt and my bag had a footprint on it. As I gathered my things, I realized my water bottle was missing. I was mad, but ignored it and sat down while I put my gloves in my bag. A girl that was sitting in the bleachers with her ugly looking boyfriend (I think she is the sister of a little girl in class, with who I shared a punching bag today) in the bleachers said something to me, of what I only heard water bottle. I said: "What?", and the little girl shook her head, and then they just left.
I was left kinda startled. When no one was looking I looked for my water bottle under the bleacher seat, but it wasn't there, so I just grabbed my stuff and went to the restroom to wash my hands. On the way, I opened my bag to check if I still had my wallet, phone, etc. Everything was there, but I was pissed. I washed my hands, and headed to my car. Furious.
Now, it wasn't the water bottle. It was a bottle of Sobe Life Water that I bought like two weeks ago at school, but since I hate throwing away plastic bottles (and this bottle was cool looking, and made from sturdy plastic), I was reusing it. It was worth nothing, that's what I'm trying to say. But why would a person take a bottle of water from someone else? I mean, maybe it's because I'm a slight germaphobe, but I wouldn't drink from a stranger's water bottle.
Were they trying to upset me? They've never met me in their life, what was their reason behind it? Where did respect go?
I guess I grew up in a different place, in a different time, but I could just think this over and over and would never understand why. So I'll leave it at that. Good they didn't go through my wallet, or they would have orgasmed at the five dollars and change I had.
From now on, I'll put my bag somewhere I can see it. Problem solved.
Just what pisses me off even more, is that I always leave the class feeling happy and energized, wanting to sing from the top of my lungs all the way home. But not today. I felt furious, upset, weak, sick. But oh well, I'll just put this behind me. Sorry, but I had to rant.

♥Weekly Hearts♥
Sorry for the lack of ♥Weekly Hearts♥, I'm being lousy ;-; Just kidding, I've actually been busy, haha. On with the hearts:
Covergirl Lash Blast Volume
I got this mascara a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely LOVE it!! And yes, I said the same about The Colosal, but this mascara is amazing. It doesn't clump at all, and it just gives beautiful thick and lengthy lashes. Love it.
Kickboxing
I joined a kickboxing class when March started, and I am in love. I'm still going to yoga, don't worry. I loved how on the first class, I was almost dead by the end of the warm up, LOL! The instructor is also really cool and nice. And surprisingly, I've lost 4 pounds since I started. Really, what's not to love?
1" Curling Iron
I got these at Target for $9.99. It was the cheapest one, and I though I would be disappointed, but I'm not! It's great. I used to use a 3/4" one, and but my curls would be a little tighter than I liked. 1" is the perfect measure. I really recommend this iron, unless you have problems with short cords, other than that, I can't see a flaw.
And I have a little heartache:
USPS
I ordered books last Sunday (3/14/10), and one of the books got missent! Oh noes... They sent it to a zip code that's almost identical to mine, just for one different number. I need it now! I ordered two books from that seller, and even though one got missent, I have not received either. I see few stars in their feedback...
EDIT: I just went to the mail box and my books were there. Tracking never updated though...

What I'm doing during Spring Break!
...May not be as fun as you think ;-;. If you read my Twitter, you may know that I got into the Honors Program at my school. Each professor basically gives me an extra "project" so I can get the Honor credit. I'm taking three classes (out of four) with Honors: biology, accounting, and literature. For biology and accounting I have to read a book and write an essay, and for literature I have to do a presentation to the class about the works of Nell Dunn. Kinda dreading the presentation, but I know everything will be okay.
Even though I don't work (lazy bum), I feel like it's a little too much to handle. So I want this Spring Break to be productive. I'm thinking of keeping my "school schedule" while at home. Not making sense? Story of my life! From 9 to 10AM I will do all the literature work I can fit, from 10 to 11AM I'll read my accounting book, from 11 to 12PM I'll work on my biology blog (yes, a fourth blog!!) because I barely order the book I'm going to read for my Honors. Then from 12 to 1PM I'll have a break, maybe snack on something, take a shower, watch a little TV. And at last, from 1 to 2PM I will do my microeconomics, which all I have to do is rewrite my messy notes into a notebook.
So no procrastinating! Let's see how it goes :]

Gummy Bear Necklace
Today my parents had a fight, so I decided to kidnap my mom and take her to the mall. We mostly window shopped, but it was definitely a nice break. We went in a couple of stores, and one of those was Claire's. My mom is not a huge fan, but in my case I feel like a kid in a candy store. I browsed around and found the cutest thing!:
Non-perishable candy jewelry! Isn't it adorable? I asked my mom if she though it was childish and she said yes, but I bought it anyways ^-^
It completely sweetened my day.

The Unicorn Wallet
On Wednesday I went to the mall with an old high school friend. It had been a really long time since I'd gone to the mall, months maybe, so I was exited :] We went to Hot Topic and browsed around. My friend got a cool jacket, and I got this:
Isn't it so cute?!! I love it! It's a bit big, but it's good because I can just hold it like a little clutch, haha. And the print is so cute! Unicorns are the best! I've always loved horses and unicorns, but lately Doe Deere has been raving about them, which has made me love them even more.
I was thinking about doing a "What's in my Bag?" post, so be on the look for that! :]

♥Weekly Hearts♥
Hello! Sorry, I've kinda been away but school is consuming most of my time. Neopets is consuming the rest of it... LOL! Anyways, here are this week's hearts:
Nail Polish
I have an ongoing battle with my fingernails. I've been biting them since I can remember, and since I got braces, it's been easier to let them grow. Still, I have nervous moments where they're gone in an instant. But I've been letting them grow back and I love them because I get to use fun nail polish colors on them again! It's awesome. I currently have rainbow fingers: blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink on each.
Chocolate
I love chocolate. I'm female, for crying out loud!! Haha. Anyways, if you read my previous post, then you know I got a huge chocolate bunny. Need I say more?
Yoga
As one of my New Year Resolutions, I said that I would be more active and healthy. My mom and I signed up for yoga class at an activity center 15 minutes away from our house. We go two days a week, and I sometimes do some at home following the videos of Esther Ekhart a.k.a. Yogatic on Youtube. She has this beginner's routine that is 30 minutes long and is great. I'm loving yoga so far :]
Neopets
Yes. I got back into it. I stopped playing constantly for about a year. I would log in every once in a while to buy and sell stocks, and to feed my pets, but I had pretty much left my addiction behind. Or so I thought. I got back into it just in time for Daily Dare, which is so much fun! And although I'm not on it every second of my life like I used to, I love it. Although I don't like the whole Neocash idea, (damn you Nickelodeon!), it's still a fun way to waste time :]
So this are this week's hearts. Share your hearts (favorite things) of the week in the comments below!

Chocolate Bunny.
I'd forgotten how much I love Easter! It took me a trip to Target for my mind to start reminiscing.
A couple of years ago, my grandma got me a huge chocolate bunny. I ate some of it at home, and the rest I ate it on the bus while my grandma, my brother, and I went on a trip to Mexico. And every year since then, I've bought a giant chocolate bunny. It's kinda like a personal tradition.
Today I went to Target on my way home, and I passed the Easter isle and immediately though: "I'd forgotten how much I love Easter!", and got myself a tasty bunny (kinda weird to say this, since I'm vegetarian, haha). This year I got a smaller one, just because I'm on a "health kick", kinda.
So if you'll excuse me, I have a giant chocolate bunny waiting for me in the refrigerator ;]

Tylenol.
I'm the kinda girl who likes to be prepared for everything. That's why I carry a million things in my school bag, even when I know there is like a 5% chance that I'll need it. A girl in high school once referred to my school bag as the "Barney Bag", and I took it a a compliment :]
But sometimes for whatever reason I take something out of my bag, and forget to put it back in there. Sometimes I go on without noticing. Other times I feel like dying without that item, whether it is chapstick or a mirror. Today was one of those days.
There is this really cute boy in my Biology class. He has facial hair, wears Converse, and always says smart things in class. (And he has braces too!). He sits in the first seat in the first row, and I sit in the second sit in the row right next to his; I used to sit next to him, but some guy stole my seat ;-; Anyways... today he turned around to the girl sitting behind him (to whom he's never spoken to before), and asked her:
"Do you happen to have aspirin, Advil, or something like that?"
He looked in pain, and stretched his arm ; but the girl replied that she didn't have anything.
I usually carry Tylenol in my bag (who knew!!), mostly because of my braces, cramps, or for sudden headaches that may prevent me for concentrating in class. But I remembered that on Tuesday of last week, I forgot the jar where I had to put the kefir the professor was going to give us; so I emptied my medicine container, put the Tylenol in my eyeglasses case, and took the medicine container to class for the kefir. That same day, when I got home, I put the medicine case (with the kefir inside) in my night table drawer, and put the Tylenol on my dresser and never put it back in my bag.
If I had had Tylenol, I could have been like: "Oh, I have some! *shuffle through bag*, here! So, what happened to you?... Oh, really! :O", and then we would make out (oh wow, LOL!). But I had no Tylenol to offer to my crush. He and the girl then started to chit chat about how the professor dressed, and I sat in my seat swearing in my head, wondering what could have been if I had had Tylenol with me.

New Year's Resolutions
Last year I didn’t have any resolutions, mainly because I didn’t want to fail. And I though about doing the same thing this year, but then I realized there are a couple of things I’d like to accomplish by the end of the year:
♥Go to bed early.
I have developed a terrible sleeping schedule over the years. I’m talking about going to bed at 1-2 AM. Not only do I wake up late, but I feel energy-less throughout the day. And, this semester I signed up for a 6:30 AM class, so I’ll have to wake up around 5 AM to be out the door by 6. But I know I can do it :] I started going to bed at 11PM yesterday and the day before yesterday, but I ended up just laying there until past midnight, but I’ll just have to keep trying.
♥Don't spend a lot of money.
I’ve noticed that I’ve spent a lot of money on a lot of useless things throughout the last year, and I need to start to learn the value of money (which is how I came with my next resolution). I want to be a saver, not a spender! So I’m leaving my debit card home when I go to stores from now on, so I have no temptation to spend.
♥Get a job.
I’ve been wanting to get a job for a couple of years, but I just can’t overcome my shyness. Recently, I’ve applied to a couple of places, and still no calls back. I definitely don’t want to stop trying! I want to feel useful, and earn money, and that my family stops making remarks of how lazy I am. Seeing my brother buy a laptop a couple of days ago, made me realize that I could do the same if I worked. Hire me please? ;]
♥Exercise.
And not only to loose weight and get toned, but also to have an active life; a hobby. My mom and I are thinking about joining a yoga class, so I think that would be a lot of fun. We went to a trial class many months ago (maybe a year), and it was a great workout, even though it looks easy. I was in pain for like three days afterward. And how cool is it to be a vegetarian who does yoga? Haha.
♥Make friends.
Maybe I haven’t mentioned this before, but I’m an extremely shy person (Yes, I just did! a couple of lines up!!). And it’s terribly hard for me to make friends. I have three friends:
-Max
-A girl I’ve known since 7th grade (that’s 6 years!)
-A guy I met online, whom I never met in person, but I’ve known for 4 years
That is definitely not normal for a teenager. I want to learn some social skills, be more friendly and open. I have "the social graces of a fetus", as Kara from America’s Next Top Model said about Nicole.
So there you have it, these are my New Year’s Resolutions. Feel very free to post yours in the comments below! :]

Happy New Year!!
I can't believe it's already 2010. It's such a big number, and pretty too. I hope this year comes with a lot of new happy surprises, and a lot of blessings.
Yesterday my family came over to dinner. My mom made pozole, and it was delicious. I must say the night seemed a bit chaotic: four surprise guests (and therefore sitting was messed up, and there were not enough spoons) and kids running around, but it ended up being a great night. I was in charge of the music again, and I didn't do a lousy job. Even though my mom told me a few songs she wanted on the playlist, most of the songs ended up being the ones I liked, haha.
I hope you too had a great night, and I wish you a very happy new year :]
