Dear Diary: I'm Sad

This morning I was woken up by my brother tossing a bunch of balloons in my bed, followed by a dog jumping all over me trying to pop all of them.

Today I was feeling kind of down, I really don't know what was wrong with me. Maybe it's hormonal. I even shut my room's door. I rarely do that.

Yesterday my mom's friend called while she was not at home, and she talked to me for a while. It was kind of weird. And today while they were online chatting, she told my mom that I was a "nice and fun person to talk to". That doesn't sound like me :/ And that's exactly what I told my mom, and a lecture about how I don't have any self-esteem followed.

Then I had to drive my mom to Walgreens because she was meeting a lady who was going to give her something for my aunt. Since we we're already there, we decided to go into the drugstore. I looked at the make-up, but didn't like anything. I did pick up some dry shampoo, because the one I have has a very unpleasant smell. Then I bought us some candy. I tried the Milky Way Simply Caramel, it's so delicious. My mom got some Japanese peanuts and some dried mango with a sugary and spicy coating. Also, for some reason the cashier scanned a different bag of candy instead of the ones I was buying so it would come out cheaper. I don't know exactly why he did this, but somehow that unethical transaction cheered me up.

After that we went to a grocery store and we bought some sweet bread and I bought some apple cream that my grandma has and that I love.

Right now I'm going to watch a movie called "Trust". I stumbled upon it somehow, and it looks interesting. I'll see if I like it.

PS. I realized that Christians have issues against Pokemon so I deleted the Jigglypuff e-card from my friend's Facebook wall and posted a different one with a hamster with chubby cheeks instead.

Candy Obsession

I've recently fallen in love... with a candy! I'm not sure what these are called, but I like to call them Giant Smarties, because they're humonguous compared to the traditional Smarties. I eat them until I feel sick. Yeah.

Katy Perry's "California Gurls" ♥

I'm in love with this video! It has candy, color, and Katy Perry! The song is alright, but I know I'll be addicted to it soon enough :D

♥Weekly Hearts♥

So this week was filled with nice hearts. Like these:

Braces off!
If you read my previous post, or if you read my braces blog, then you know that I got my braces off. I'm so exited! I love my new smile. I can eat without worrying that half my food will end up between my brackets. I can smile to the world!! I'm extremely happy, can you tell? :]

Cousin
My cousin (well, she's actually my aunt, but she's a year younger than me so we pretend we're cousins) came over to visit the family, shop, and attend my other cousin's wedding. She came over to my house on Friday as a surprise, along with my grandma and my other cousin Sofia. We then went to the mall, and went back home at like 9 PM (thy we're closing the stores!). We drove home with the music as high as it would go, singing from the top of our lungs. The best time I've had in so long :]

Candy
Chewy caramel and Starbursts are my new favorite. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some as soon as I got out of the ortho. It's so nice to be able to eat chewy candy again.

And I have a little heartache, it's not that bad, and I'm getting used to it, but it deserves this spot:

Retainer
I had basically 3 hours of teeth freedom before I got my retainer. Not enough!! And I can't close my mouth all the way, you can see where the plastic ends, and I can't say "s", sh", or "ch" sounding words. But I'm getting used to them and they'll keep my teeth straight, so hopefully they don't stay in this section for long.

Gummy Bear Necklace

Today my parents had a fight, so I decided to kidnap my mom and take her to the mall. We mostly window shopped, but it was definitely a nice break. We went in a couple of stores, and one of those was Claire's. My mom is not a huge fan, but in my case I feel like a kid in a candy store. I browsed around and found the cutest thing!:
Non-perishable candy jewelry! Isn't it adorable? I asked my mom if she though it was childish and she said yes, but I bought it anyways ^-^
It completely sweetened my day.

Happy New Year!!!

Before I went to bed, I wanted to wish you a very happy New Year! I hope you had an amazing night. I did. My mom made vegetarian lasagna, and we drank wine. Then we watched "Oliver!", it ended about 30 minutes before 12 AM; so I went upstairs to my room because my mom was already fast asleep and my dad was sleepy.

I watched David Cook at the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve; but I pretty much only wanted to see the Jonas Brothers, which I obviously missed. I saw the countdown and kissed Pepino when the ball dropped. Then I ate a Jolly Rancher hard candy, because I heard that in order to have good news all year, the first thing you eat should be sweet; so I hope that works.

Right now I'm just sipping my wine and watching Frasier. I have a little Christmas story I want to tell you, but I'll do that later today; the wine is making me sleepy.

This year I wish you health, love, success, happiness, and whatever it is that you most want.

Love,
Ana
